Ultimate chilling pant? Yes. Ultimate pant overall? Absolutely. So comfortable and the fit is perfect. Extremely soft, and if lint is a concern, these repel very well. I prefer a short cuffed pant so this was ideal. Could hem them if you choose, plenty of length to do so. 190lb 5’7 size M

I have multiple pairs of PD Slackers. I like the old slackers better. The fabric felt much better when it was 97% cotton and 3% spandex. The PD slackers fabric was added with more polyester, making it feel more stiff like a rip stop-like material that doesn’t give way. These are important details when you try to pull your pants up. If they added a back pocket on the old slackers, everything could be solved. The sizing is also incorrect. I’m 5’9 and 200lbs w a size 34 waist. I first bought a large which was too big around the crotch to the thigh area. Buying a medium was much better fitting. I would also prefer to have the length 32 instead of 30 for the mediums. It’s probably for production purposes but if they could improve these areas or at least offer different versions, the slackers would be more beloved by the public.
Love these slackers. The addition of the back pocket is huge for me , I’ve had an original pair or slackers for years and def wished I had the back pocket before so that’s really nice.. also enjoy the looser fit on these compared to the OG. Incredibly comfy and fit me well. My only thing to note is a personal style / fit preference that I wish they weren’t tapered at the bottom and kept that wide leg all the way down. That would feel slightly more fashionable to me. But overall very pleased and stoked to catch them on sale. Thanks.

Roomy and comfortable everyday pants. I have 4 and alway wanti g to get more.
The pants as re comfy but they aren't made that well. My side pocket is already separating and starting to fray with very minimal wear ( around the house to light days like grocery shopping). Great brand, minimal, comfy products but the quality doesn't seem worth the price for myself. Thanks.
Waste is very small for a large, must have been a miscut they’re ok but not the size of other larges I have purchased. Of 5 pairs so far this and one other are quite a bit smaller.

They’re super nice material, comfortable waist band, good pockets and are roomy enough for someone with thick legs. All in all, good pants.

My everyday pants in Florida. The cotton/polyester/nylon blend stays way cooler than all cotton in this humidity. Very soft too.
Length is on point. It’s just a hair more snug in the waist/seat vs the original slackers. I’d still get these over the originals every time. They feel great and of course have the much needed back pocket.
Love these pants … way better than the original Slackers, in my opinion. I’m 6’1”, and the originals shrank too short after washing. These fit perfectly and even have a back pocket, which is a nice bonus. They’re a bit longer and wider, so they can slip under Vans, but they work great with all my other shoes. And no, they’re not “clown pants” like another reviewer claimed … maybe that’s just if you’re more petite. These are exactly what I hoped the original Slackers would be. If you want a more fitted look, consider sizing down.
My second pair of PD slackers — I like the subtle, visible weave of the fabric, and they look good all day without getting wrinkled. The antler color is unique and versatile.
I prefer the regular slacker pants that are 100% cotton. The new PD slacker pants are 53% cotton and 47% synthetic fibers and has a brushed finish which feels artificial/plasticky. But I guess Standard Issue is doing what most companies do; instead of raising the price to cover increasing cost, they just make the product cheaper and use cheaper materials. Which is disappointing since I am willing to pay for quality. Guess I will have to look elsewhere when my regular slacker pants need replacement

They are the most comfortable pants i have ever worn. They even keep you cool when the thermometer is over 90F. Happy you came out with a slacker with a back pocket.
I just wanted the standard medium slacker. these i have to pull up to my damn nipples to even look normal. somehow, since you were out of stock, i was talked into two pairs via text.... two pair of absolute clown pants
Love the fit - hands down my favorite everyday pant. Can dress up with button down or go casual with the tee. Better fit than the og slacker, material is a bit different but still feels quality.
I ordered 3 pairs, black, blue and green, the blue pair was somehow tighter in the waist and about an inch shorter than the other pairs even though all were size XL

The slacker pant is hands down my favorite. I’ve purchased all the colors and tossed all my other pants.
I really like the PD cut and fabric — I typically wear 42x34 pants, and the Size 2XL fits me very well. Fabric feels substantial but has a soft, almost suede-like feel. Concrete color is very neutral but has a hint of green, which I like. I will definitely buy this pant in additional colors!

the pants were exactly what I was looking for. Easy to put on, slightly loose (but not baggy) and nice materials. I just wish there were different lengths (inseam)...since I"m 5'8" and the pants were long...even when I cuff it..thats a lot of cuffing.
